Another Geithner Gaffe

Ace of Spades calls attention to Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner's incredibly awkward answer about whether he was aware of the predatory/rape atmosphere at the IMF when he worked there.

"I think it's a hard question to ask a man -- you could as a woman that question," Geithner said, and added later, "No offense to men -- I think it's very hard for men to understand about what it's like to be a woman working anywhere, in that case. So you should ask a woman at the IMF."

That's about got the logic of a pencil eraser. So because I don't understand what it's like to live in a Third World country, I shouldn't send money there?

It's totally worth reading the rest of Ace of Spades obliterating commentary -- he tears Geithner to shreds.
