Rubio Dismisses 2012 VP Talk

Via the Hill, Sen. Marco Rubio quelled vice-presidential rumors today on a Ft. Meyers radio station, saying he's focused on the job he wanted: being a U.S. senator.

He also said he's still getting used to his new title.

"When people say 'Senator,' I don't look up or anything -- I think they're talking about somebody else," Rubio said."When I was growing up, my dad was a bartender. No one went around calling him 'Bartender Rubio.' 'Senator' is my job. It's not who I am."
