"These Programs have been starved these last eight years."

On FOX News Channel, Sen. Claire McCaskill just said that "some of these programs have been starved these eight years" defending the stimulating government plan. Unfortunately for the Democrats, the more America sees this porkpalooza bill, the more they don't like it.

According to Gallop:

41% of Americans don't expect Obama's economic stimulus plan to affect them or their family's financial situation.

48% of Americans believe the bill should not pass without major changes or not at all.

Almost 8 out of 10 Americans are concerned the plan would not stimulate the economy quickly enough.

Looks like Obama's honeymoon is over, quickly. The decision by the House GOP to be unified to reject the bill is gaining steam, and as Rep. Mike Pence pointed out -- the only bipartisanship came in the opposition. When you are principled in your stand, America respects you and responds in kind. No porkpalooza!
