Bloomberg Tries to Spin Last Night's Debate into a Win in Doctored Clip

"Okay, I'm the only one on this stage who's started a business, is that fair?" Bloomberg asked at the Las Vegas presidential debate Wednesday night.

At the time, there was silence from his competitors. To most viewers it was an awkward silence. But to Bloomberg's campaign, it was a winning moment for the former New York City mayor. In a new, obviously edited clip from the debate, Bloomberg is portrayed as a leader, while his competitors are depicted as deer in the headlights.

Trying to spin his performance last night into a win will take some creative contortion. Reality, we all know, was much different. Some have called his performance the worst in debate history. He was disengaged for most of the evening, making it seem like he'd rather be anywhere else in the world. The rest of the field pounced on him with several different lines of attack. He was unprepared for all them. Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) hit him for using his billions of dollars to buy his way into the election.

And then there was this bone saw moment from Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), which needs no introduction.

The billionaire businessman isn't making life any easier for himself. He was roasted on Twitter for sharing the doctored debate clip.
