Last week President Trump had a routine physical at Walter Reed Medical Center.

“Anticipating a very busy 2020, the President is taking advantage of a free weekend here in Washington, D.C., to begin portions of his routine annual physical exam at Walter Reed,” White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham explained at the time.

His physician, Dr. Sean Conley, revealed that the 73-year-old president was found to be “in very good health.”

But CNN saw something more.

"Does it add up?" Brian Stelter asked. He brought on guest Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta for some further analysis.

Gupta's math told him no, it didn't add up. Anytime a president goes to the hospital is a "big deal," Gupta noted. So why weren't certain roads closed? Why weren't hospital corridors closed? There was no institution-wide notice.

"That didn't happen here," he observed. "So, that was a bit unusual."

The next bizarre detail is that Trump supposedly had routine lab tests done at Walter Reed that could have been done at the White House. And then, there's footage of White House physician Dr. Sean Conley actually riding in the same vehicle as the president. That is pretty unusual because it's typically a security concern for the two to ride together. That's according to "doctors that he's talked to."

Stelter listened to it all with a furrowed brow. If it wasn't for this White House's "lack of credibility," Stelter explained, they wouldn't be left with all these questions over what would otherwise be a routine checkup.

"This is a huge concern, Brian," Gupta said, musing whether Trump's doctors are lying to him.

What could it all mean? If this segment wasn't enough for you, CNN published a whole piece online about it, where it's revealed that Dr. Gupta reached out to the White House for clarification, and received the following memo in return.

"Despite some of the speculation, The President has not had any chest pain, nor was he evaluated or treated for any urgent or acute issues. Specifically, he did not undergo any specialized cardiac or neurologic evaluations," Dr. Conley wrote.

This isn't the first time the media has obsessed over Trump's health. His former physician Ronny Jackson had to dedicate an hourlong press conference about a presidential physical in January 2018.

I'm not sure what all this fuss is about. As you can see, the president is in fine shape.
