'She Treats Me Like Her Maid': Kellyanne Rails Off on Pelosi During FOX News Interview

White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway sounded off on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for ruining Wednesday's infrastructure meeting with President Trump. An hour before they were scheduled to meet, Pelosi accused the president of staging a "cover-up."

Pelosi clearly "can't control her temper" about the president, Conway said during a FOX News interview Thursday morning, adding that the speaker kept her car running before even walking into the White House.

Conway was also fuming over how she had been treated by the speaker. During the very brief, three-minute meeting, Conway asked Pelosi if she had "a direct response" for him.

"I'm responding to the president, not staff," Pelosi responded.

"Really great, that's really pro-woman of you," Conway reportedly said.

Conway reflected on their tense exchange on Thursday.

"She treats me like I'm her maid," Conway said of Pelosi. "She’s not pro-woman. She’s pro some woman."

She told other press the same thing.

Pelosi also "can't control her own caucus," Conway added on FOX News. For weeks now she's tried to tamp down talks about impeachment, to no avail.

If Pelosi and Chuck Schumer were serious about infrastructure, Conway reasoned, they could have stayed and talked to her or to Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin. Or, if they weren't in the mood to talk, they could have at least left their written plan in the room for the White House to peruse.

"We have email," Conway noted.
