Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) had no problem calling out his fellow senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) for his recent foreign policy suggestion. On Monday, ahead of Trump's historic summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, Graham drafted an authorization for the use of military force.
"Serious people" shouldn't even be discussing that, Paul said on CNN. Graham, he elaborated, is "naive" and "believes war is always the answer."

Graham responded on Fox News.
“Contrary to what Senator Paul says, the only way you’re going to get North Korea to give up their nuclear program is for them to believe they are better off without it than with it, and that comes down to Trump convincing them that they can no longer go on the path they’re going without a fight,” Graham told Martha MacCullum.
These two notable senators have a history of hostility. Last year, Paul called Graham, and his best friend Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), a faux conservative. Before Paul said Graham was putting the country is danger, he accused him of bankrupting it.

"People like McCain and Graham, who parade as conservatives but are not really conservative, they need to be called out because they are bankrupting our country," he said.
Trump emerged from his meeting with Kim Jong Un optimistic that the two had come to an understanding that would lead to a denuclearized North Korea. They signed a joint agreement outlining how they'd get there.
