'Clean Repeal' Bill Fails

A day after rejecting the Obamacare repeal and replacement bill, the Senate has voted down the repeal only plan Wednesday by a vote of 45-55.

Seven Republicans joined every single Democrat in voting against the legislation.

Some conservatives are not happy that many of the Republicans who voted against the straight repeal bill today voted in favor of it in 2015.

On Tuesday, the Senate voted on a motion to proceed to debate on the Obamacare replacement bills.

It doesn't seem to have proceeded much further than that.
