Spicer on Whether There Will Be Twitter in White House

Good news for anyone who likes to be entertained: Donald Trump will continue to tweet as president. That's what incoming press secretary Sean Spicer said on ABC's "This Week" on Sunday.

“The fact of the matter is that when he tweets he gets results,” Spicer explained.

Many mainstream media reporters have not liked the fact that the president-elect has bucked protocol by skipping out on traditional press conferences. Instead, he has often chosen to inform the American people directly on social media. With over 18 million followers, the argument can be made that those announcements are both faster and more far reaching.

Having the opportunity to have a direct conversation with Americans "freaks" the media out, Spicer concluded.
