Trump Picks Goldman Sachs President For National Economic Council Director

President-elect Donald Trump has made another new appointment, according to NBC News.

Cohn met with Trump last week, fueling rumors he was under consideration for a cabinet position. Politico noted at the time that he is a registered Democrat who has contributed to both parties.

Cohn has been with Goldman Sachs for 25 years, taking over as president in 2006.
