Ryan Lochte Attacked By Audience Members on 'Dancing With the Stars' Debut

No one quite knew how U.S. Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte would be welcomed on the "Dancing With the Stars" stage Monday night after his controversial ending to the Rio Games. Yet, no one could have predicted that security detail would have to spring into action.

After Lochte and his partner Cheryl Burke finished their foxtrot and were receiving their judges critiques, audience members appeared to rush Lochte with intent to do him harm. The camera stayed on judge Carrie Ann Inaba as she appeared horrified by what she was watching. When the camera panned back to Lochte and Burke, they were clearly stunned and shaken. Watch the video below.

Another Twitter user snapped a picture of the two culprits after they had been taken into custody. As you can see, they were wearing anti-Lochte T-shirts.

This is certainly not the dancing debut Lochte was hoping for, but thankfully no one was harmed.
