Baton Rouge Ambush: The Victims

Sadly, we are having to identify more fallen police officers who were slain by citizens they had vowed to protect. Below are the three Baton Rouge police officers who were murdered on Sunday. Three others are injured. The motive for the slaughter is still unknown.

Montrell Jackson, 32 years old

Jackson was a married father and a 10-year veteran. This is a picture of him with his son, born just four months ago.

Jackson also posted this eerie message on Facebook last week.

Matthew Gerald, 41 years old

Gerald was a husband and father of two. He was a former Marine who had only been on the Baton Rouge police force for a year. 

Brad Garafola, 45 years old

Garafola was a married father of four and a sheriff's deputy who had served in the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office for 24 years.
