Trump Pulls Out of Heritage Action Forum Event, Cites 'Business Transaction'

Donald Trump's campaign announced Friday that the Republican frontrunner will be skipping the Heritage Action Presidential Forum scheduled for Friday afternoon in Greenville, South Carolina. Trump claimed he will miss the event due to a business deal.

Some of Trump's critics are claiming this excuse doesn't pass muster and that he is merely trying to avoid Heritage's very clear event format:

The forum will give the candidates a platform to engage in a dialogue with experts and voters on the policies central to our Opportunity for All, Favoritism to None agenda.

Each candidate, Heritage Action emphasized, will field "multiple, policy based questions."

I guess we'll have to wait a few more days (weeks?) for Trump to reveal his specific policy proposals.
