James Comey Joins Twitter, For Real This Time

About two weeks after confirming that the @FormerBu Twitter account tweeting under the name "Reinhold Niebuhr" belonged to none other than former FBI Director James Comey, Comey has changed his handle to something slightly more traditional and is now tweeting under his real name. Comey now tweets as the user @Comey.

His newly-updated bio now reads "Formerly @FormerBu, past FBI Director, current husband and father, writing and speaking about ethical leadership, taller and funnier in person." His header photo is now advertising his upcoming book, "A Higher Loyalty," which will be released in Spring 2018.

Prior to changing his handle, and after revealing himself as Comey, he tweeted a scoop about his book release, joking that he hopes there would be pictures.

He also tweeted an excerpt from a  David Brooks column.

Well, welcome to Twitter (officially), Comey!
