Much to the (probable) chagrin of patrons of D.C.'s Union Pub (who were promised a round of drinks per tweet, #ThisTown), President Donald Trump notably did not live tweet former FBI Director James Comey's testimony today before the Senate Intelligence Committee.
Trump's last tweet from his @RealDonaldTrump account was sent on Wednesday, and it referred to his trip to Ohio to speak on Obamacare and infrastructure improvements. The last tweet from the @POTUS account was sent on June 6. Previously, Trump had indicated that he planned on tweeting a rebuttal to Comey.
On Twitter, people were shocked that Trump had managed to put down his phone for this long.
Most surprising thing about today's hearing? That Trump did not tweet all day! Have they released him from the straight jacket yet?

Trump did not mention Comey in his first public remarks today. Nor did he tweet about him.

The WH comms strategy is to declare victory because Trump did not tweet during the hearings.

I'm honestly completely surprised that Trump has managed to not tweet during this testimony. Did his people log him out?

While President Trump stayed off of Twitter, his son, Donald Trump Jr., did not. Trump Jr. tweeted commentary throughout the hearing.
