Family Circle Launches "Presidential Cookie Poll"

Since 1992, Family Circle has done the "Presidential Cookie Poll," where spouses of the two candidates submit cookie recipes for people to bake and then vote on a winner. The cookie poll has been remarkably accurate, and only once has it failed to correctly predict who will win the election.

This year, Melania Trump has submitted her "star cookies," and the Clinton family submitted an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie. This is the same winning cookie that represented Hillary in the 90s.

Personally, I plan on baking each of these cookies this weekend...for research purposes, obviously.

In 2012, Michelle Obama's cookie submission defeated Ann Romney's by 287 votes.
