Dean: This Wouldn’t Happen if Democrats Were In Control

The always entertaining Howard Dean believes if Democrats were in control, somehow Hezbollah wouldn’t be so mean. And Israel wouldn’t respond to terror. Things would be nice over there in the Middle East. You know, like they were during the Clinton years, when bin Laden gained his power and following.

The quote:

"If you think what's going on in the Middle East today would be going on if the Democrats were in control, it wouldn't, because we would have worked day after day after day to make sure we didn't get where we are today. We would have had the moral authority that Bill Clinton had when he brought together the Northern Irish and the IRA, when he brought together the Israelis and the Palestinians."

Yes, you read that right. Clinton, according to Dean, had “moral authority.” And Al Gore was animated. And Janet Reno, well, how can you resist that charm?

In case his comments weren’t enough to prove the Democratic party has fallen hard left off the ladder of common sense, Dean was introduced by angry comedian Al Franken who, according to some reports, said something funny back in 1982.
