Cleaning Up Obama's Mess Abroad

Lech Walesa -- the Solidarity leader who marshaled the forces of Polish anti-Communism -- has effectively endorsed Mitt Romney for President.  It has a clarifying effect to see where America's long-time allies (and friends of freedom) are putting their hopes.

Obviously, Romney's trip abroad -- which, as Marc Thiessen aptly explains, is designed to highlight and redress five of President Obama's worst foreign policy gaffes -- is going fine.

A truly even-handed mainstream media, dedicated to covering both sides fairly, would be explaining the context of the trip.  Instead, it's fixated on Romney's alleged gaffe, questioning the readiness of British authorities for the London Olympics -- doubts that actually seem to be well borne out here and here.
