An Odd Speech

We have been spared rambling stories about trees tonight, but instead Newt Gingrich is giving a lengthy critique of the punditry surrounding his races this year -- with a tone combining bitterness and resentment.  No happy warrior here.  It seems he's just one step away from asserting that, "You won't have Gingrich to kick around anymore" ... Except that he's not going away.  Oddly self-referential, wasn't it?
