Remarkable. Ruth Marcus -- a liberal WaPo columnist -- notes the President's strangely "passive" approach to the events unfolding around him.

Interesting that the MSM saw a 2008 candidate with a history of voting "present" and now are surprised that he's operating the same way in the Oval Office.
