Here's a golden oldie from 1989, when a Democrat Congress tried to "reform" catastrophic health care for the elderly. Democrat congressman Dan Rostenkowski (later imprisoned for corruption) is chased down the street by angry constituents -- with whom he had refused to meet.

Money quote?

"I don't think they understand what the government is trying to do for them."

Or, like today, maybe they do, and that's the problem.

The taxation against which the elderly were protesting then is peanuts compared to the new taxes accompanying ObamaCare.
