What is President Obama afraid of?

His communications director attacks Fox News in more militant terms than his White House uses against terrorists (I'm sorry, that's

actually "man-caused disasters," according to the administration) who want to kill Americans.

An unnamed source in The White House insults liberal bloggers who are insufficiently worshipful of The One.

It strikes me that one has to walk a pretty fine (pro-Obama) line to remain in the administration's good graces. Tolerance for dissent -- from left or right -- there is not.

Remember how unsophisticated the intelligentsia deemed it when President Bush announced that when it came to terrorism, "if you're not with us, you're against us"? Apparently, the Obama administration has adopted the same world view -- except that it's just deployed against fellow Americans now.
