My Townhall column discusses the genesis of the widespread voter anger at Washington

In a word, it all boils down to R-E-S-P-E-C-T.  Elected officials, starting with the President, have treated voters with the most profound disrespect in recent months.  Anger isn't some unexplainable, "scary" response.  It's to be expected when the politicians Americans hire and pay treat them and their views with contempt.
