A Vicious Cycle of Ridiculousness

I was not a fan of Joe Wilson heckling President Obama last night.  That being said, he apologized and that's that.  It's over.

Even Nancy Pelosi says that she's not going to pursue any kind of censure of Wilson

, despite the best efforts of House Democrats.  That makes sense, of course; otherwise she'd be in the position of protecting habitual "tax forgetter" and Chairman of House Ways and Means Committee Charlie Rangel even as she sought to punish Joe Wilson.

Look, the only thing more ridiculous than hecking the President during a speech to a Joint Session of Congress is seeking to punish someone for hecking the President during a speech to the Joint Session of Congress.  Amazing how totalitarian the "free-to-be-you-and-me" Democrats become when someone criticizes their leader in the wrong environment.
