My Townhall column notes that -- to the extent the MSM actually covers it -- the Van Jones scandal is damaging both to President Obama and the environmental movement

The remark about Republicans and the 9/11 "truther" business are the purported reasons why Jones quit.  But what's also remarkable are the radical associations -- some of which he shares with the President -- and racial statements that, apparently, weren't deemed to be serious enough to force his resignation.

Jones has also made the case for those, like Rush Limbaugh, who have long argued that in some quarters, the environmental movement is simply radical left politics by other means.
