When it comes to the President's supposed "reforms," it's not just that they'll destroy the greatest engine for medical innovation in the world -- that is, the US health system.  It's not just that they'll make Americans far more dependent on government.  It's that they require all us literally to set aside our most cherished assumptions about the worth of human life.
