How California Went Bankrupt

Contrary to the liberal spin, Prop. 13 -- protecting Californians from skyrocketing property taxes -- is not the reason the (once) "Golden State" is bankrupt. Rather,

as my Townhall column points out, an arrogant group of big-spending legislators, protected by gerrymandering, bear responsibility for driving California off the cliff.
