But please, let's not let a tawdry affair by a once up-and-coming governor obliterate the coverage of Iran -- and an issue that will continue to matter long after Mark Sanford and his lady-love are (thankfully) yesterday's news.

Update: Jenny Sanford's statement is a model of dignity and class. If I were (God forbid) in the same cirumstances, I can only hope I would be able to respond so well.
