Priorities, Please!

The whole Mark Sanford affair is appalling.  Of course it deserves to be covered by the press.

But please, let's not let a tawdry affair by a once up-and-coming governor obliterate the coverage of Iran -- and an issue that will continue to matter long after Mark Sanford and his lady-love are (thankfully) yesterday's news.

UpdateJenny Sanford's statement is a model of dignity and class.  If I were (God forbid) in the same cirumstances, I can only hope I would be able to respond so well.

What's more, she's nobody's patsy. Why isn't Jenny Sanford running for office?
