Obamacare's Social Leveling

My Townhall column points out that the "government option" for health care insurance being pushed by the Obama administration (now being spun as the "public option") will result in the kind of social leveling that the President has embraced in other areas

If his plan prevails, all of us will be "equal," no doubt -- at least insofar as we'll all have the same shoddy government-run health care. That, of course, excludes powerful politicians or their friends . . . who are the only ones who really get special treatment when the free market has been destroyed by legislation.
