A Busy, Busy Man

One can't help agreeing with Coach K -- shouldn't Barack Obama be focusing a bit more on the economy, and a little less on his basketball brackets?

This morning comes the news that, five days before assuming office, the President took time to enter into a $500,000 book deal for a children's version of "Dreams from My Father."

It is the first time a sitting president has entered into such a book deal, according to the Washington Times exclusive.

Interesting.  If the President's basketball interests and "Tonight Show" appearance serve to charm the American people, they're gambles worth taking.  But when people are really hurting, isn't there a risk in appearing to be simply focusing on the fun but fluffy things -- or personal business like book deals?
