A Day of Dedication

A 9/11 memorial has gone up at the Pentagon.

On this day, we remember with prayers all those lost in the attacks of 9/11,  and with gratitude the brave people who brought down the plane in Pennsylvania, showing the world what Americans are made of.

Though it's a day for sorrow, as we remember, it's also a day for resolve.  Let's never forget what happened, and the price so many paid for our having let down our vigilance and our guard, ignoring and underestimating our adversaries in the world.

And as Ronald Reagan said, let us always be prepared, so that we may always be free.
