Hopefully, America is realizing the problems of having its manufacturers scattered all around the world. The media has been hyperventilating about the need for ventilators, face masks and other medical supplies amid the ongoing Wuhan coronavirus pandemic. One problem is that many of those manufacturers are located halfway around the world, so we don't even have the capacity in place to start making these supplies in the quantities the current pandemic calls for.
Here's a video of masks being made in India. The poor hygiene of the workers looks like they might also be making a new virus in the sweatshop. The masks are just laying on the floor, so they probably need to be disinfected so that people wearing the masks won't become ill.

My Pillow founder and CEO Mike Lindell has always bragged about making his pillows in the United States. In the middle of the coronavirus pandemic, he voluntarily retooled his factories to begin making face masks, at great inconvenience and personal cost to his company. Of course, leftists are upset with him.
We can regulate manufacturers when they're in the United States and make sure their products are safe. But, as the video shows, we probably have no idea what's going on overseas.
