Planned Parenthood Tweets They Will Go After Senators Who Vote For Kavanaugh

In a disturbing tweet this morning, Planned Parenthood indicated they are planning on going after senators who vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh.

The tweet reads, “Roses are red, Violets are blue, Senators vote NO on #Kavanaugh, Or else we’re coming for you.” It was followed by the hashtags “#NationalPoetryDay” and “#StopKavanaugh.”

A few hours later, Planned Parenthood issued another tweet that read, “We're going to be LOUD. We're going to be NOISY. And we're not going to stop until we WIN. #StopKavanaugh”

What appears to be a thinly-veiled threat to prominent members of the GOP should perhaps come as no surprise, considering that Planned Parenthood--which happens to be the nation’s largest abortion provider--is presently running a campaign titled #StopKavanaugh.

The abortion giant has allegedly already invested over a million dollars so far in an ongoing attempt to block Kavanaugh’s nomination to the United States Supreme Court.

Presumably, part of the reason for Planned Parenthood’s intense interest in the outcome of the nomination is that if Judge Kavanaugh is indeed confirmed later this week, he could eventually prove to be the fifth Supreme Court justice needed to overturn Roe v. Wade.

While Kavanaugh did not indicate his views on potential abortion rulings during his preliminary confirmation hearings, many assume that he would join current right-leaning justices Thomas, Alito, Gorsuch, and Roberts on the issue of the oft-debated constitutionality of Roe.

Prior to the 1973 passage of Roe v. Wade, just 17 states permitted abortion under certain circumstances. Pro-life advocates hope to one day see the contentious issue of abortion rights returned to the states.

As for this morning’s controversial tweet from Planned Parenthood, it appears to be tied to the recently-concluded FBI investigation into the yet-to-be-corroborated sexual assault allegations against Brett Kavanaugh.

And it comes at a time when Republicans are already reporting an uptick in threats of violence and death, directly related to the Kavanaugh confirmation. On Tuesday, Senator Bob Corker (R-TN) met behind closed doors with several Republican colleagues, to discuss how they and their respective families and staffs might best address the threats that continue to pour in.

The Daily Wire reported Corker as saying, "We've been through this in the past, but this is the worst it's been since I've been here.”

The senator went on to add, “I think we need to recognize that it's not going to go away with the final determination of whether he's going to be on the Supreme Court. There's something underlying there that we're experiencing throughout the country right now that we've got to figure out a way to address."

Planned Parenthood has also mobilized a number of protesters in Washington, D.C. today, claiming that the FBI investigation of Judge Kavanaugh was “insufficient.”
