Even though China has repeatedly lied about the Wuhan coronavirus, when and how it started, how it's transmitted and the severity of the virus, the Chinese Communist Party seems to think we should believe them whenever they say they have very few coronavirus-related deaths. On Sunday, they doubled down on this theory when they said they no longer have any coronavirus patients in hospitals, Business Insider reported.
Officials on Saturday said Wuhan had 12 active cases but no new infections.
"The latest news is that by April 26, the number of new coronavirus patients in Wuhan was at zero, thanks to the joint efforts of Wuhan and medical staff from around the country," a spokesperson for China's National Health Commission spokesman, Mi Feng, said at a briefing on Sunday.
The city of Wuhan, where the pandemic originated from, reported a total of 46,452 cases, which equates to 56 percent of China's total. Wuhan had 3,869 fatalities, or 84 percent of China’s total deaths, according to Reuters.
The news comes after the city has been on lockdown since the end of January. By Valentine's Day, individual neighborhoods were sectioned off and had guards patrolling the one entrance/exit. The only way residents were allowed to leave their homes was if they were seeking medical care.
When restrictions began to lift around February 8, Wuhan allegedly had only three new infections over a three week period.
Life is slowly returning to normal but city officials are telling residents to stay home unless they absolutely have to leave their homes. In order to board public transportation, check into hotels or eat at restaurants, a person has to have a "digital pass" on their smartphone. It's used to track when and where a person has traveled.
It's hard to believe anything that comes out of the regime's mouth. It took them almost a week to let the world know about the virus. Taiwan tried going to the World Health Organization to let them know so the world could have a heads up. And they remained silent. Why? Because they were protecting the CCP.

We're now learning that the coronavirus began at a lab in Wuhan, even though the lab director completely denies what took place. Even though the coronavirus outbreak began in Wuhan, China wants us to believe they had far fewer cases and deaths than the majority of the world. Even Dr. Deborah Birx called BS on that.
