As the polls closed in New Hampshire and results started coming in, entrepreneur Andrew Yang announced his decision to suspend his presidential campaign. It became apparent that he couldn't go on to win the Democratic nomination.
Even though he's no longer in the race, Yang supporters throughout the country still plan to vote for him, as evidenced by the #StillVotingForYang hashtag on Twitter.
I'm still going to Yang people as if @AndrewYang was still running.. y?— Sumshing Wong ?? (@KamWah888) February 15, 2020
think of all the people who never heard of him or his policies.
they'll wonder why @TheDemocrats ever allowed a candidate to drop out
plant the seeds for 2024#StillVotingYang #YangGang
What's even more amazing: a new poll from the Las Vegas-Review Journal shows Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) is tied for third place with those supporting other candidates/undecided. Yang supporters believe he could surge.
It seems as though his supporters have an Idea: go for a brokered convention.
It looks as though Nevada, South Carolina and Super Tuesday are going to be rather interesting.
