Now that the House officially transferred the articles of impeachment to the Senate for a trial, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-NY) said Hunter Biden – the very person at the center of the entire impeachment saga – is "not a relevant witness."
According to Democrats, President Donald Trump partook in a quid pro quo – also known as bribery – when he asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter, for corruption. While the veep was handling international relations with Ukraine on behalf of the Obama administration, Hunter was being paid anywhere between $50,000 and $83,000 a month to sit on the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian gas company. Hunter, however, had no natural energy experience.
Democrats have said Trump threatened to withhold military aid to Ukraine until the country launched an investigation into Trump's "domestic political opponent," Nadler said. It has been revealed that was not the case and President Trump was actually reevaluating military aid because other allies weren't contributing to the cause. The funding was eventually released.
Despite that, Nadler thinks it would be useless to call Hunter Biden.
"Any witness who has any information about whether [withholding military aid in exchange for an investigation] is true or not true is a relevant witness," Nadler explained. "Anybody, like Hunter Biden, who has no information about any of that, is not a relevant witness. Any trial judge in this country would rule such a witness as irrelevant and inadmissible."

Nadler seems to forget that Joe Biden bragged about getting the prosecutor who was investigating Burisma fired. If no wrongdoing took place, like the former vice president says, why would he do everything in his power to get the prosecutor ousted? Wouldn't he be okay with an investigation taking place if everything was on the up-and-up?
Instead of wasting their time on impeachment, Democrats should be looking at the real issue here: did the Bidens engage in corrupt behavior in Ukraine?
