WATCH: Biden's Latest and Utterly Pathetic Spin on Ukraine

Over the weekend, the Nevada Democratic Party hosted their First in the West dinner, where the 2020 Democrats made their case to voters.

During his speaking time, former Vice President Joe Biden brought up President Donald Trump's desire to get to the bottom of the Bidens' corruption in Ukraine.

“Donald Trump knows that I’ll beat him," Biden explained. "That’s why he’s spending millions of dollars on air, lying about me and risking his very, very presidency by trying to bribe foreign leaders to say things about me that aren’t true and they won’t say.”

President Trump ran on "draining the swamp" and part of doing that means getting to the bottom of any and all corruption. When Trump asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate Biden and his son, Hunter, it was because of the very swampy behavior those two engaged in. Remember: Hunter Biden was making $50,000 a month to sit on the board of a Ukrainian gas company despite having no natural energy experience. At the same time, the vice president was handling international relations with Ukraine on behalf of the Obama administration. Hunter himself even admitted he wouldn't have been put on that board, or the Amtrak board, if it wasn't for his last name.

Getting to the bottom of political corruption shouldn't be a controversial subject. Americans on both sides of the aisle should want to know if a politician and his or her family are engaging in questionable and unethical behavior. If a Democrat took the White House and the same exact conversation took place between that president and Zelensky, would Democrats still cling to a bogus impeachment inquiry? Doubtful. This all stems from their hatred of Trump, not their desire to protect Biden.
