Progressives Launch Petition To Boot Trump From Social Media. Here's Why.

Just when you think the Democrats can't get anymore deranged, they prove us wrong...yet again. The Democratic Party went after President Donald Trump over the last few days for tweeting a reminder about Rep. Ilhan Omar's (D-MN) comments on September 11th. Somehow this entire ordeal has turned into bashing Trump and blaming him for what Omar said.

The Women's March campaign has launched a petition to keep President Trump off Facebook and Twitter. The name of the campaign says it all. "Tell Facebook And Twitter: Don't Give Hate A Platform."

Here's what the petition says:

Trump has launched a despicable and irresponsible attack on Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, sharing a propaganda video questioning the Congresswoman's loyalty to the United States. This is as dangerous as it is unprecedented. Representative Omar is receiving countless death threats as the president of the United States is inciting violence against a Black Muslim sitting member of congress, putting her life at risk.

Tell Jack Dorsey from Twitter and Mark Zuckerberg from Facebook to take down Trump's hateful video and permanently suspend his Twitter account. We don’t have to give hate a platform.

When people sign the petition, this is the email they send to the CEOs at Twitter and Facebook:

To: Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey
From: [Your Name]

Don't give hate a platform. President Trump has demonstrated time and again that he will not hesitate to spread hate and incite violence from as many platforms he can.

Don't give him yours. Suspend him from Twitter and Facebook for inciting violence and engaging in hate speech. Remove his propaganda video targeting Congresswoman Omar.

The president will not stop. He will continue to issue hateful messages from the White House. But you can stop him from issuing those messages on your platforms.

Do the right thing. Suspend Trump from Twitter and Facebook.

The progressive group encouraged their followers to take part in the petition with the following tweet:

The entire notion that Trump is to blame for this saga is really, truly disgusting. People should be upset that Omar can't call terrorists what they are...terrorists. She has to refer to them as "some people," even though they killed thousands of innocent people.

Trump reminded people of what Omar said. He didn't say the words. The Left needs to stop condemning Trump for posting the video reminder and start condemning Omar for her comments.
