Obama Policy Book to Hit Shelves

There's news this morning that Barack Obama will be dropping a major policy book on September 9 titled "Change We Can Believe In: Barack Obama's Plan to Renew America's Promise.”

I think this is a bad idea. I'm betting the majority of this book will be fluffy and moderately written, but this will effectively amount to a major document drop of opposition research.

Sure, a book full of policy positions could act as a good script for his supporters, but gives him little wiggle room through November.
