Vietnam Memorial Goes Online

The National Archives has teamed up with Footnote.com to launch an online, interactive Vietnam Memorial website.

You can check it out HERE
.

I was going to write a news story about it, but to be honest with you the site is a little clunky and has a lot of registration prompts that ask for billing information which is a turn off for me.

The site is still very cool. Without doing any of the registration, I was able to search "Carpenter." When I put that name in it takes me to photos on the wall of names with "Carpenter" in them and then I can drill down to get a full name, rank, birthplace and lots of other great bits of information.
