President Trump Returning To PA to Rally for Keller Special Election

Ahead of the May 21st special election in Pennsylvania’s 12th Congressional District, President Trump is returning to the Commonwealth. The president will rally support for PA state representative Fred Keller, who is poised to take the 12th district seat by a large margin. The district is solidly red; the previous GOP representative, Tom Marino, won the district by over 30 points in the 2018 midterm elections. Marino later resigned his seat due to health reasons, triggering the special election.

President Trump has made numerous visits to the Commonwealth on the campaign trail, and will hold a rally for Rep. Keller in Montoursville on the eve of the special election:

Keller’s opponent, Penn State associate professor Marc Friedenberg, is an ally of socialist darling Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, outwardly supporting the Green New Deal, Medicare for All and debt-free college. Anyone who has spent time in the 12th district, in the heart of central Pennsylvania, knows that these radical ideologies do not, and will never, resonate with the district’s voters.

Keller is set to sweep the district by a large margin on Tuesday and will only see a boost from President Trump, who is still popular in the district.
