Earlier this week House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler announced he will issue a number of subpoenas in the coming months in order to target more than 60 individuals and organizations affiliated with President Donald Trump.

Some analysts are calling it Nadler's road to impeachment as he justifies document requests because President Trump calls the Mueller investigation a witch hunt.

"It’s very clear that the president obstructed justice. It’s very clear, 1100 times he referred to the Mueller investigation as a witch hunt, he tried to – he fired – he tried to protect Flynn from being investigated by the FBI," Nadler said during an interview with ABC's This Week on Sunday. "This investigation goes far beyond collusion."

But some on the left worry the new Democrat-led House could be overreaching, including President Obama's Chief Campaign Strategist David Axelrod.

We discussed the politics of Nadler's move last night on Special Report.
