ICYMI: Paul Ryan Invites President Obama to Give Final State Of The Union Address

In case you missed it over the weekend, newly minted House Speaker Paul Ryan invited President Obama to give his final State of the Union address in January.

"Dear Mr. President, as we look ahead to the new year, we have both an opportunity and an obligation to find common ground to advance the nation’s interests at home and abroad. We also owe it to the American people to present solutions that address the challenges they face. In that spirit, it is my honor to invite you to deliver your State of the Union address before a joint session of Congress on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 in the House Chamber," Ryan wrote in a letter sent to the President Sunday. "Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to your reply."
