Woman Who Watched Her Parents' Execution in a Gun Free Zone Slams Hillary's Gun Control Proposals

I've written about the Luby's Massacre before, but it's always important to explain it again. Here's the background:

In 1991 Texas residents were banned by law from bringing firearms into restaurants. That same year, a mad man with an intent to kill as many people as possible, crashed his truck into a Lubys Cafeteria in Killeen. The man got out of his vehicle and shot 50 people, killing 23 of them. One of the survivors, Dr. Susan Gratia-Hupp, had left her gun in the parking lot and watched as her parents were executed in front of her. She was following the rules and obeying the law by leaving her gun in the car, right where the killer knew it would be. As Hupp describes in her own words, it was like shooting fish in a barrel. Everyone was defenseless.

The gun control debate continues to heat up in state legislatures across the country and on the 2016 presidential campaign trail. In particular, Hillary Clinton has taken on some of the most extreme positions in the gun control debate and even agreed the U.S. should "consider doing" an Australian style mandated gun confiscation program

“Recently Australia managed to get away, or take away, tens of thousands, millions, of handguns. In one year they were all gone. Can we do that? If we can’t, why can’t we?” an attendee at a New Hampshire campaign event asked Clinton.

“I think it would be worth considering doing it on the national level, if that could be arranged,” the White House hopeful replied, embracing not only a mandated national buyback program but getting rid of handguns in the United States.

Last night on The Kelly File, Hupp took on the latest arguments for gun control and reiterated the extremely dangerous situation people are in when they stand in gun free zones.

"I think Hillary Clinton should lead by example, they should disarm her entire security detail and that of her children and lets see what that looks like in a year from now and see how well that works out. If guns are the problem, someone needs to explain to me why don't see these mass shootings at places where there are thousands of guns in the hands of at least hundreds of law abiding citizens. I always think of the dreaded gun show. We don't see mass shootings at dreaded gun shows. We don't see mass shootings at NRA conventions. We see mass shootings in places where we have made guns illegal, where people can't protect themselves," Hupp said. "Why is Hillary Clinton's child's life worth more than mine? Why does she get to have armed protection for her family but she wants to take my armed protection away."

During an interview on MSNBC yesterday, Clinton's top campaign advisor failed to successfully walk back comments backing Australian confiscation in the U.S.
