DNC Chairwoman Confident Obamacare Will Be Helpful to Democrats in 2014

DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz never fails to provide us with moments based in anything but reality. Over the weekend on CNN's State of the Union, Wasserman-Schultz told host Candy Crowley that Obamacare will be a positive force for Democrats to run on in 2014 as millions of Americans continue to lose their health insurance plans. Wasserman-Schultz continued to push the Obama administration talking point that although insurance losses are are not what the President promised, people will be able to get a plan that "they like better" and that "offers more at a cheaper price," which isn't true. The cost of insurance under the Obamacare exchanges is double, even triple what people were paying before getting their cancellation notice in the mail.

“I think, actually Candy, that Democratic candidates will be able to run on Obamacare as an advantage, leading into the 2014 election."

As a reminder, the majority of Americans still disapprove of Obamacare and President Obama's poll numbers have taken a nose dive since the launch of healthcare exchanges on October 1.
