BREAKING: IRS' Lois Lerner to Retire

After a few months of vacation administrative paid leave, Lois Lerner, the woman at the center of the IRS targeting scandal, is retiring.

Lois Lerner, the Internal Revenue Service official at the center of the controversy surrounding the agency’s scrutiny of Tea Party groups, has retired effective today, according to a Republican congressional aide.

Who wants to take bets she'll be getting her full pension and benefits on the way out?

As a reminder, Lerner is the former director for tax exempt groups at the IRS. In front of a congressional hearing in May, Lerner claimed she did nothing wrong and plead the fifth. Just days before the hearing, Lerner issued an apology for the IRS' inappropriate targeting of conservative groups.
