He began his speech by reminding the audience of a bill passed under President Lyndon Johnson that bans religious leaders from supporting candidates or formally endorsing political parties.  "We are going to knock out the Johnson amendment," Trump promised the audience.  Trump joked that it may be the only way he gets into heaven.

He also reiterated how important it was for the conservative audience to get out and vote.

Trump's commitment to school choice was a main topic in his speech.  "You're going to have choice," he said.  "I will be the biggest cheerleader for school choice you've ever seen."

He blamed the Democratic Party for poverty and crime in America's inner cities.  He once again asked African-Americans, "What do you have to lose?"

He hit Hillary Clinton on ISIS, saying that it is a problem she is responsible for.  He said she should have never announced her plans in Syria to the public.

Trump poked fun at the evangelical audience saying that, "I hope I don't lose your vote, but maybe we shouldn't be so honest" when planning our military strategies.

The crowd applauded when Trump said that Clinton's single greatest accomplishment was destroying her emails.

If NAFTA does not become a "two way highway" Trump said, then the United States will leave the trade agreement.

He concluded his speech with a promise of unity and belief in the future of America.
