Voters Claim Hillary Won Florida, Demand Recount

More voters are demanding a recount, this time in Florida. Three central Florida residents argue Hillary Clinton, not Donald Trump, won their state, and filed a lawsuit Monday asking for a recount to prove it.

According to USA Today, the three voters claim the election results were inaccurate because of “hacking, malfunctioning voting machines and other problems.” They’re demanding every paper ballot in Florida be recounted by hand, and that Trump, Governor Rick Scott and the 29 Republican electors from Florida cover the cost.

Clint Curtis, the Orlando attorney representing the three voters, pointed out that they’re running out of time; it is unlikely they will receive a response before the Electoral College meets on December 19, if the get a response at all.

"They can ignore it entirely,” he told USA Today.

Despite this, Curtis said he still has hope Trump will support the recount.

“He’s mentioned he wants to fix the rigged system,” he said. “This will give the opportunity to do that. If it were a normal politician, I’d say our chances are very slim. But it’s not a normal politician - it’s Donald Trump.”
