Liz Warren Rejects Fox News Town Hall...and Her Democratic Opponent Offers to Take Her Place

A bevy of her opponents may be accepting Fox News's invitations to partake in presidential town halls, but Liz Warren is not going to budge. She's made up her mind about the network and that's that.

Bernie Sanders, Amy Klobuchar, Pete Buttigieg and Kirsten Gillibrand didn't get the memo because they've already participated in Fox town halls or are planning to soon. As they've explained, they recognize the need to expand their support bases and speak to different audiences. Another Democratic presidential contender, former Maryland Rep. John Delaney, criticized Warren for refusing to leave her progressive bubble, and added that he'd gladly take her spot.

They're apparently the rebels in the party though. The Democratic National Committee announced earlier this year that they are refusing to partner with Fox for any of their primary debates. DNC Chair Tom Perez explained that they've lost trust in the network because it is just too hand in hand with the Trump administration.

The DNC and Warren are eschewing a major platform. Fox has consistently beaten CNN and other cable news networks in ratings. This April, Fox was the most watched basic cable network for the 34th month in a row. They crushed the competition for the 208th month in a row, beating CNN and MSNBC in both day and primetime viewership.

But, those millions of viewers aren't worth talking to?
