BREAKING: Palm Beach Doesn't Meet Recount Deadline

The 3 p.m. deadline in the Florida recounts has come and gone, and Palm Beach County is unable to provide their vote totals.

So what happens now? Apparently they just keep on counting.

We knew Palm Beach had its issues. On Tuesday the machines overheated, which essentially meant officials had to recount the recount.

"We’re disappointed by the mechanical problems that are going to cause a further delay in the recount,” Palm Beach Supervisor of Elections Susan Bucher said at the time.

We are still waiting for an official winner in both the Senate and gubernatorial races. As it stands, Republican Gov. Rick Scott and Republican Rep. Ron DeSantis are holding on to their tight leads over Sen. Bill Nelson and Andrew Gillum.

Broward County, meanwhile, finished their recount in the nick of time.

While a judge rejected Democrats request for an extension, he did allow an extension for provisional ballots with mismatched signatures.
